HARMONIA premiering at LEEDS LIGHT NIGHT 2025

Commissioned to collaborate with renowned contemporary composer Ilan Eshkeri to create an original, immersive AV installation and performance with a live eight piece choir for Light Night Leeds.

In an age where the world feels increasingly fragmented and accelerated, Harmonia invites you to pause and reimagine time, scale and self. Projected across the historic surfaces of the Clothworkers Hall, this immersive piece transforms the building into a living, breathing entity.

At the heart of Harmonia is a simple yet profound idea: that all life and matter, from the smallest particle to the vastest galaxy, is part of an interconnected whole. Even when we feel dislocated - from each other, from nature, from reality itself - we remain part of the same unfolding story.

The Clothworkers Hall, with its rich textures and historic architecture, becomes more than a backdrop; it is a conscious participant. Light and motion ripple across its stone and wood as if the walls themselves are alive, revealing molecular structures, natural forms, abstract data, and cosmic patterns. These shifting visuals are choreographed in dialogue with a layered musical score, drawing the audience into an emotional and sensory landscape.

Visuals and music entwine in a dynamic evolution from micro to macro, structure to chaos to harmony, and back again; an emotional arc that mirrors the confusion and beauty of human experience in an age of disconnection and rediscovery.
