BRADFORD 2025 - “THE AVOCADO CHASE”

Commissioned with renowned animator Virpi Kettu to create a series of creative school workshops and deliver a large scale projection mapping event as part of Bradford 2025 UK City Of Culture.

We worked closely with the National Science and Media Museum and Carlton Bolling Academy in Bradford to devise and deliver the workshops in schools which included story telling, stop frame animation and projection mapping. The students’ stories were honed into a projection mapped artwork event called “The Avocado Chase” which was projected onto the large sports hall building at the rear of the academy.

The project also included the delivery of live event, including all technical infrastructure, such as the 35000 lumen projector and tower installation.

A replica of the projection mapping event using a 3D printed façade was produced for exhibiting at the National Science and Media Museum as part of REELBFD: DIGITAL ARTS, BRADFORD STORIES.

The full event video will be released following the end of the exhibition in September 2025.
